When you think about it, nature’s got a pretty good sense of humor. Science tries to understand it. Religion tries to explain it.

All we’re ever going to know for sure is that it’s true.

We know because we’ve seen it with our own eyes, and as a result, we’re optimistic too. If that makes us naïve, so be it. If ours is a philosophy based on shared beers and bonfires, so be it. Truth is, we step to a wildly different drummer, and we’re not the least bit ashamed. In fact, we hear voices too, and those voices issue from places far and near — sometimes a 15,000-foot mountain top, sometimes the tree in the backyard.
